Introduction
O God, make speed to save us.
O Lord, make haste to help us.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen. Alleluia.

Now Holy Spirit, come, descend,

Give, Lord, we pray, to your people the unshakable firmness of faith, that those who confess that your only-begotten, everlastingly with you in your glory, has been born of his virgin mother, truly in our nature, may also be freed from our present adversity, and be brought to the joys to come, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
