O God, make speed to save us.
O Lord, make haste to help us.

Now Holy Spirit, come, descend,

Short Lesson: Isaiah 8:14
The Lord will become a sanctuary, a stone one strikes against; for both houses of Israel he will become a rock one stumbles over - a trap and a snare for the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

And his faithfulness to the house of Israel.
